Common questions
How much can I actually save?
Depends on your roof orientation, your current usage, and FPL's net-metering rules (which changed in 2024). Typical Broward/Palm Beach install: 40-70% offset on the bill, 7-10 year payback. We show you the math with real numbers, not brochure numbers.
Do I need to upgrade my panel?
Often, yes. NEC requires interconnection to be no more than 120% of the panel's busbar rating — for a 100A panel that means very small systems. Most homes benefit from a panel upgrade as part of the project.
What about batteries?
We install Tesla Powerwall 3 and Enphase IQ battery systems. Cost is significant — usually $8k-$15k per battery installed. Worth it for backup power, marginal on economics unless you have TOU rates.
