Whole-Home Generator Installation in South Florida
Generac, Kohler, and Cummins standby installs. Automatic transfer switches. Permit and inspection included. Ready before the next hurricane, not after.
Generator Installation in Broward & Palm Beach
Hurricane season is why South Florida homeowners buy generators. September is when they wish they had. We install whole-home standby systems — sized to your actual load, sited to code, wired to a manual or automatic transfer switch that keeps everything critical running when FPL is down. If you're comparing bids, look at the transfer-switch spec, the fuel-line certification, and the follow-up service plan. That's where the difference lives.

When to call us
You lost power for 3+ days after the last storm
That's the moment to buy. Backorders in September are 8-12 weeks. Install in the off-season and be ready for June.
You have medical equipment or a home office
CPAPs, oxygen concentrators, dialysis machines, or a work-from-home setup all justify standby — even at the small-generator scale (14kW).
You want to keep the whole house running, not just essentials
Requires a full-house transfer switch and a properly-sized generator (20kW+ for most homes with central AC). We size it once, correctly.
Common questions
What size generator do I need?
Depends on your central AC tonnage and whether you want to run everything or just essentials. Typical South Florida home with one 5-ton AC + kitchen + basic loads = 20kW. Two AC units or a heat pump = 22kW-26kW. We do a load survey before we quote.
Natural gas or propane?
Natural gas is the preferred fuel if you already have a line — no tank refills, unlimited runtime. Propane is common for homes off the gas grid. We coordinate the gas plumber either way.
How often does it need service?
Annual — oil, filter, spark plug, battery load-test, exercise cycle verification. Skipping annual service is the #1 reason generators fail when they're needed. We offer a service contract or a checklist you can DIY.
